Nice plants

Pros:
  • Textured foliage
  • Grows in full shade
Cons:
  • Plants smaller than described
The Astilbe grow well. Directions say to plant a foot+ apart, but plants are a bit small for that and look small and lonely when planted at that distance. Next time, I will plant them closer together.

Quick to grow and looking healthy so far

Cons:
I planted these as soon as I got them. They quickly started growing and after less than a month, they are looking very healthy. There are no blooms yet, which is why I didn't give them 5 stars. I'm not sure I should expect any this year but the foliage is lovely and I am happy with the results so far. They are getting very little sun in the morning and it seems to suit them.

Pros:
  • super-easy to grow
  • adds color to darker
  • shady areas
Cons:
  • none
I planted all 8 roots in the shady part of our yard that desperately needs color. In less than 2 weeks all have come up and have beautiful red/brown foliage! I think I will add a few of the white/pink caladium bulbs in that spot as well.
